Astin’s lived experiences as a Black Queer Femme informs the intersectional frameworks used in her work to support individuals in reclaiming their agency over their sexuality. Within many of the sexual health spaces that Astin occupied, she found that sexual health information for queer and trans individuals of color were hardly ever centered or acknowledged. With the creation of Love Liberated, Astin hopes to walk alongside other passionate individuals to create space for those who want to center their sexual liberation and inspire others along the way.

Noa

Noa is a Black, Indigenous, and Puerto Rican creative whose work lives at the intersection of storytelling, liberation, and care. With a background in media and entertainment, they’re drawn to the power of narrative and how it shapes culture, reveals truth, and opens doors to possibility. As a queer, neurodivergent person, Noa knows firsthand what it means to move through systems that weren’t built for people like them. That knowing is part of everything they create. Their work centers community, complexity, and the deep belief that people deserve spaces where they don’t have to shrink or translate themselves to be understood. Through both art and action, Noa is committed to building a world where authenticity isn’t just welcomed but it’s honored.

Antonia

Antonia is a first-generation Latine Queer Femme raised by immigrants with a background in community care and health education. Fueling their work is the belief that communities should and do hold the pathways to a liberation that centers joy and autonomy. Antonia is committed to empowering and supporting Queer and BIPOC communities in making informed decisions to move beyond surviving, into thriving.

Austin is a public health professional specializing in sexual health, driven by a commitment to community liberation through knowledge and empowerment. Grounded in the histories, futures, love, and rage of queer and trans communities of color, they advocate for a world that prioritizes the needs of marginalized communities, striving to foster environments where all individuals can thrive. Liberation, to them, involves the ongoing process of dismantling oppressive structures and envisioning transformative solutions that empower and inspire marginalized communities.

Cailey
Pronouns : she/her
Cailey has focused her career on supporting young people in the criminal and juvenile justice system, advocating for policy and systems change. She is passionate about amplifying youth and survivor voices in spaces where they’ve been silenced. As a graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s in Sociology, Cailey believes true justice involves redistributing wealth and power to BIPOC communities and dismantling white supremacy and institutionalized racism.
In her previous role, she led social justice efforts with the Youth Mental Health Advisory team, which focuses on suicide prevention and centering youth voice. A certified wellness coach and birthing doula, Cailey champions community care and advocacy, believing that individuals are the experts on their own experiences.

Mai Err

Mai Err is a first-gen Hmong Queer woman raised in Sacramento. Her background is in organizing, from program coordinating to Excel sheets, attentive of cultural-relevancy and accessibility to underserved communities. Liberation to her is an ever-growing journey to critically analyze and understand the historical and existing systems in place, deliberately heal from the imbalance of systemic power, and unravel to the places where choices are made from love and care.

Meski

Meski Johnson is an Ethiopian-American Seattle born and raised project & events manager with 10+ years of professional experience in Film & TV communications. Since 2015 Meski lived and worked in Oakland, CA as a media & events production specialist in non-profit, corporate, academic, and grassroots spaces throughout the Bay Area. Meski is deeply passionate about moving Black Queer folks to the forefront of industries such as Cannabis, Queer & Trans Masculine fashion, and getting free through sexual liberation by celebrating Queer Black sexual fluidity & visibility. She has built a career, a personal passion, and the love for a get-together of people, through events attended & worked across the globe.
Outside of Love Liberated, Meski is a co-coordinator of Queersportz and currently resides in Sacramento with her partner and two furbabies, who she also loves taking to explore events.

Mondo

Mondo is a DeafBlackTrans Intersectional Librarian, artist, and activist. He is the founding Librarian of the Library of Intersectionality and runs a DEIA consultancy and independent research and information business as Mondo Connections. He is blessed to have his Master’s in Library and Information Science, an Advanced Certificate in Strategic Management of Digital Assets, and his BS in Biology. He performs as drag king Mondo Millions, working to bring Deaf/DisabledQueer Visibility to all via The Black Violet Revue, a BlackQueerDisabled virtual variety show. They have 10+ years of experience with tech, data, libraries, and connecting people with information and resources! His academic work with intersectionality has been published! He spends his free time gardening, reading, and dancing. Making complex subjects accessible via creative means is a passion of his, and he is excited to contribute to the necessary and empowering work to address intersectional disparities in the sexual health, wellness, and information needs of the QTBIPOC community with Love Liberated.

Lorrie is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in private and nonprofit sectors in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. She specializes in organizational and fund development, with a focus on communities of color, equity, and inclusion.
Lorrie’s dedication to sexual liberation is rooted in her belief in freedom—freedom from limiting thoughts and beliefs that keep us bound to outdated social constructs. She is passionate about empowering individuals to live freely and authentically, breaking free from societal norms that hinder personal growth and expression.
