So what is a “BIQTPOC sexual liberation collective” anyway?
Established in April 2021, Love Liberated was developed to bridge the gap between sexuality, queerness, and people of color. We are Black, Queer, Femme founded. Learn more about our team here.
Wait—I see QTBIPOC on your logo, but BIQTPOC everywhere else? What’s that about?
Our recent change from QTBIPOC to BIQTPOC is to intentionally center those who exist at the intersection of both Black and Indigenous identities and the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Black and Indigenous queer and trans people have always been at the forefront of resistance, liberation, and culture-making—yet we remain the most erased, exploited, and targeted by systemic violence. We want to make sure our work shows and uplifts that!

Our Mission
To foster sexual liberation for BIQTPOC by means of Comprehensive Education, Creativity, and Healing.
Our Vision
To establish spaces that facilitate and uphold collective sexual liberation for BIQTPOC.
Our Values
Commitment and Responsibility to Community: Centering growth and wellbeing, we move with love, with all of our efforts responding to the needs of our community.
Collective Power: When we recognize our collective power and center our power in solidarity we are able to transform systems and hold each other accountable.
Moving with Trust and Intentionality: We move with intentionality and transparency which means we take time to build relationships and foster community.
Liberation: self-determination, joy and authenticity. We come as we are and embrace the joy that comes from being our authentic self.

What do y’all provide?
We offer in person and online presence of workshops, community events, healing spaces, and sexual health resources to individuals in the Sacramento community.
We begin by encouraging creativity through workshops. With creativity, we enhance play and expression, expanding our minds to move past the suppression of our liberation and desires.
When educating community, create open spaces to learn about different aspects of self, through local resources, educational workshops and sexual identity. We also have barrier methods! Ask us about them!
To promote healing, we provide spaces to process intergenerational trauma, and shame, through therapeutic practices such as healing circles, somatic therapy, trauma-informed yoga, and more.
While some of these offers aren’t available just yet, they will be in the close future!
