
We love y’all. With all of our hearts. January has been a whirlwind to say the least, and community is more important now than ever. We see our trans and queer black and brown folk being targeted, we see our reproductive rights being heavily impacted. It’s time for us to work together and support each other more than ever. We stand for QTBIPOC Sexual liberation within Sacramento, and for us all across the states. We want to know how we can meet your needs in community when it comes to the sexual health information you need.
We have received a grant from the California Department of Public Health’s Reproductive Freedom and Abortion Access Initiative, which promotes reproductive justice and addresses reproductive health inequities in our local community. We want to be intentional with this grant to ensure support you all in the ways we as a community need.
We’re hosting 2 listening sessions to center the voices of Black & Indigenous, queer & Trans communities—focusing on sexual health and your lived experiences.
To help shape our programming for the next three years of intentional work, we’re hosting two listening sessions specifically for BIPOC individuals who identify as queer and/or trans:
If you are interested:
Fill out the screening survey (to ensure there is alignment with the session’s goals). If you are chosen, you will be asked to: Complete a pre-survey before the session, Join us for the listening session (in-person or virtual), You will receive a $50 stipend for completing all steps!
Transparency: There are limited spots available. This session will be audio recorded and mental health support will be available. This feedback will help inform our sexual health workshops and materials moving forward in the next 3 years.
Location: In-person near Midtown, Sacramento (accessible & ASL included) or join us virtually. Exact location disclosed upon confirmation.
