Happy Coming Out Day!
TODAY, Friday, October 11th, we will be celebrating this special day at Township 9 Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.!
Join us for an evening filled with live entertainment from the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus and fabulous drag performers. Discover valuable resources, including safe sex information, harm reduction strategies, mental health support, and gender-affirming care. Enjoy exciting raffle prizes, free activities for all ages, and plenty of freebies, along with opportunities to connect with others in our community.
While this day is called “Coming Out Day,” we recognize that it can also involve inviting your loved ones into your authentic self—a process many refer to as “inviting in.” This journey can be delicate and sensitive, filled with a range of emotions, and always represents an act of bravery for those who choose to stand up and embrace who they are. We understand that, for some, coming out or inviting others in may not always be a safe or easy choice. Regardless of how you choose to celebrate this day, we are here to support and uplift you!
