Happy PRIDE Month!
June is here, and with it comes the vibrant spirit of Pride! It’s a time to celebrate and honor it’s powerful origins, which emerged from the historic Stonewall uprising of 1969. We owe a debt of gratitude to the Queer and Trans, Black and Brown activists and sex workers whose courageous resistance sparked a movement that changed LGBTQ+ history.
Join Love Liberated on an incredible journey this month, celebrating the power and resilience of the QTBIPOC community. We’re super excited to kick off our first annual fundraiser “There’s PRIDE in our Roots: Celebrating QTBIPOC Sexual Liberation”.
Love Liberated is a local 501(c)(3) based in Sacramento, CA. Our mission? To create a world where queer and trans, Black, Indigenous, people of color can unleash their sexual freedom, embrace their identities, and be their authentic selves, all in a safe and supportive environment. We believe in the power of creativity, comprehensive education, and healing.
We have a goal to raise $3,500 to support dynamic speakers, boundary-pushing programming, volunteer stipends, and captivating event spaces. We’re more than positive that we can make it happen with your help!
