Back to the 90’s – A Queer BIPOC Day Party!

A Love Liberated, The Rooted Ascendant, and Ace Collaboration

November 21st, 2021

Back to the 90’s was a Queer and Lesbian centered day party, created to have fun, build community and get to know more about what our queer community would like to see. We engaged in sexy games, gave out giveaways thanks to The Strapping Store, and enjoyed food and drinks outside at the Slim and Husky’s Sacramento venue!

We had two amazing vendors for this event, Brown Rice Bakery, and Queer Shoppe!

Brown Rice Bakery is a new Black and Queer owned bakery in Sacramento! Brown Rice Bakery has all the delicious vegan and Gluten Free tasty treats that one could ask for! Their slogan knows them to be “Always Vegan, Always Gluten-Free, and Always Delicious!” Check them out here!

Queer Shoppe is a Queer POC-owned, all-body/gender inclusive vintage shop! At this event, Queer Shoppe had all the most stylish 90’s gear for the party and everyday wear! See all their incredible apparel here!

We are so thankful for the individuals who assisted us with volunteering by setting up, tabling, and taking down for this event! Community is everything, and we appreciate you all so much! Thank you for assisting in making this happen.

Everyone who attended brought back the 90’s with all the cute outfits and fabulous vibes! This is the first step to creating a culture of QTBIPoC pleasure and connection, and we couldn’t do this without you all.

Check out some of our great photos from the event!
